Crédit Agricole Brie Picardie launches a major €40 million initiative for budgetary and digital education – 2022-11-29 at 18:25

Budgetary and digital education, the fight against illiteracy, are major current challenges. Faced with the fractures that may appear in our territories, the involvement of all economic players is essential. This is why the Crédit Agricole Group has made strengthening cohesion and social inclusion one of the three priorities of its societal project.
With its 200 branches and 2,700 employees throughout the departments of Seine et Marne, Oise and Somme, and the financial capacity conferred on it by its status as the leading bank in these areas, Crédit Agricole Brie Picardie wishes to contribute significantly to this objective of budgetary and digital education and the fight against illiteracy. He therefore decided to launch an initiative called “Open Mind” resulting in the creation of two Endowment Funds.
The first fund, Brie Picardie Esprit Ouvert, will be an operator fund and will be equipped with the appropriate expertise and tools, in partnership with local stakeholders. It will thus be able to employ employees directly in charge of these educational actions, rent or acquire premises and equipment, welcome volunteers or any other form of mobilization that it deems useful.
