Crime in Innsbruck – attempted robbery: The suspects are only 14

The crime happened a few months ago, but it only now seems to have been clarified. A 15-year-old was threatened with a knife and beaten by two boys in Innsbruck this summer. The duo wanted the youth’s wallet. The attackers were even younger than the victim.

The crime happened on July 16th on a footpath between Viktor-Franz-Hess-Straße and Clemens-Holzmeister-Straße. Two boys he didn’t know suddenly waved a knife in front of a 15-year-old and demanded money and the teenager’s necklace. Because the victim didn’t let go of the bag, he punched him in the face. The 15-year-old was subsequently able to escape. He filed a complaint. The attacker got cold feet. The police began an investigation. A few days later, a 14-year-old local man contacted the police and confessed to having been present during the robbery attempt. The boy apparently got cold feet.Second suspect refuses to testify. However, it took some time for the investigators to find his accomplices. The police are now reporting that the crime has been fully clarified. A 14-year-old Afghan is listed as the second suspect. However, the guy refuses to say anything.
