Crime scene: never without me: is it worth turning on the new crime thriller from Cologne?

Separate parents and their custody conflicts dominate the "crime scene: never without me" (March 22, 8:15 p.m., the first). For a member of the youth welfare office, this is fatal. The Cologne commissioners Max Ballauf (Klaus J. Behrendt, 60) and Freddy Schenk (Dietmar Bär, 59) are faced with a lot of anger and interpersonal conflicts in their investigations.

What is the thriller about?

An employee of the youth welfare office is found slain, not far from her apartment. The 38-year-old Monika Fellner (Melanie Straub), who trod on maintenance-loving parents, made many enemies with her zeal. Fellner even argued with her colleague Ingrid Kugelmaier (Anna Böger), who expected the same harshness. However, the eyes closed from time to time.

During their investigations, the chief commissioners Ballauf and Schenk encountered separate parents who are fighting against each other. Often regardless of the children they share. Once unconditional love has long turned into blind hatred …

Is it worth turning on?

Definitely! This "crime scene" will particularly affect parents who are separated and who are in more or less stressful custody conflicts. Desperate mothers and no less desperate fathers show the many varieties of bad co-parenting. And in the middle of it, overwhelmed youth welfare office employees juggle the truths and untruths of their parents. A real and successful social study that also highlights the gaps in the law.

"After all these years, I trust everyone to do everything," says one of the commissioners. And as evidence, this thriller releases the audience with a small, but all the more shocking scene that keeps the head cinema going for a while … – "and everyone loved each other!"
