Cristiano Ronaldo (35) has tested positive for the corona virus, as the Portuguese Football Association announced on Tuesday (October 13). The five-time world footballer and megastar will therefore not be able to play as a national player in the upcoming international match between Portugal and Sweden.
No symptoms
Ronaldo is doing well, it continues. He has no symptoms and is isolated. In addition, the soccer star apparently did not infect any of his colleagues from the national team. All other players were tested negative on Tuesday morning. Most recently, the star of Juventus Turin was on the pitch against France in the service of his country selection last weekend.
Last week, according to consistent media reports, Ronaldo had to be annoyed that his house on Madeira Island had been broken into while he was out with the national team. A burglar is said to have gained access via the garage, but only stole several smaller items, including a signed jersey.
