The "Critics Choice Super Awards" rose for the first time on January 10th: The series "The Boys" can boast as a debut winner.

The award season 2021 was ushered in in the USA with the newly launched "Critics Choice Super Awards". At the first of the from now on annual awards ceremony on January 10th, which honors cinema as well as television films and series, the Amazon Prime production "The Boys" blossomed into a big winner. The series won four prizes, including the best superhero series, the best actor (Antony Starr, 45) and the best actress (Aya Cash, 38). Other winners include the Netflix film "Da 5 Bloods" for best action film, Jim Carrey (58) for his part in "Sonic The Hedgehog" as best film villain and Margot Robbie (30) as best actress in a superhero film ("Birds of Prey ").
