Croatia: Due to the increase in corona, the country is partly a risk area

The corona numbers in Croatia have been rising sharply since mid-August. That is why parts of the country are now considered a risk area.

The counties of Sibenik-Knin and Split-Dalmatia in Croatia are now considered risk areas due to the increasing corona numbers. The Robert Koch Institute (RKI) has now announced. The popular southern travel destinations on the Adriatic are also affected. Including the Dalmatian coastal cities of Split and Trogir, as well as the holiday island of Hvar.

For travelers this means: After re-entering Germany, they must be tested for the corona virus within 72 hours. Returnees must remain in quarantine at home until the test result is available. There are a total of 7,074 confirmed corona cases in Croatia. 168 people died.
