Crown Princess Victoria was infected with the corona virus in spring 2021. Now she has tested positive again.

A little less than a year ago, Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden (44) and her husband, Prince Daniel (48), contracted the corona virus. Now the 44-year-old has apparently been infected again. As the royal family announced, a test for Covid-19 came back positive on January 8, 2022.

The Crown Princess seems to be doing well given the circumstances. Victoria was fully vaccinated and had cold symptoms, but otherwise she was fine. The 44-year-old went into self-isolation with her family.

Victoria and Daniel were sick last spring

Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel were infected with the virus last March. At that time the princess had mild symptoms, which soon got better, as a spokeswoman for the court had explained after Victoria had recovered.

It was only recently announced that King Carl XVI. Gustaf (75) and his wife, Queen Silvia (78), tested positive for the corona virus. According to a report, they too only suffer from mild symptoms of the disease. Both are fully vaccinated, have already received the booster vaccination and are in isolation.
