The 67-year-old Jero and his wife Adriana had pretended to be singles on the program "First Dates", although they had been married for years, said the TV station Cuatro and the production company.
"I feel so good with you," Adriana said in front of the cameras. And Jero replied: "It's like we've been together for a very, very many years." In the special cruise program of the show, the two had a great time while eating or taking a bath in the jacuzzi. And the audience was fascinated: Jero and Adriana were chosen as the "perfect couple" of the show and were even allowed to spend a night in the "deluxe cabin".
According to media reports, the hoax was not revealed until a neighbor of the two went public. However, the sympathy for the swindler couple does not seem to have broken that: the newspaper "El Mundo", for example, even suggested the two for the Oscars.
