Cruise: No cruises with Aida Cruises until the end of July

Until July 31, none of the 14 cruise ships of the Rostock shipping company Aida Cruises will be on the move. In many of the destinations that Aida started, the regulations for international tourism are still in coordination processes, the company said.

The concrete conditions for a new start after the Corona crisis have not yet been clarified. In order to give the guests the necessary planning security for their vacation, the complete interruption that had been going on since mid-March had to be extended until the end of July.

"Protecting the health of guests and crew members is a top priority at all times," said an Aida spokesman. In addition, Aida is in close coordination with the national and international authorities and health organizations.

For guests who wanted to start their vacation at a later date, the travel price already paid will be deposited as credit plus a ten percent bonus. This credit can be used for bookings made until the end of 2021. Guests who do not wish to take advantage of this offer will be reimbursed for the travel price in the amount of the payment already made.

In order to further support travel agency sales, Aida will pay out a cash advance. This is ten percent of the credit and will be transferred to the sales partner as soon as Aida has deposited the travel credit for the common customer.
