By downloading the app from the eShop, French users will be able to enjoy more than 700 series and some 12,000 episodes available in streaming via Crunchyroll, which includes Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, One Piece, Dragon Quest Dai no Daiboken or more recently Shenmue The Animation. Good news for those who love Japanese horn animation, it will also be possible to continue watching even without the Internet, thanks to full support for offline mode, a first for an SVOD app on the console.
Remember that by taking out a Crunchyroll subscription, users can also access an unlimited number of episodes without advertising, with simulcast series available on the day of their broadcast in Japan – non-subscribers must wait a short week. Already available on a multitude of terminals, the app will offer, we are told, a handling adapted to Switch use, to view anime directly on the TV screen while docked, but also in mode table top or portable, with an interface designed for Joy-Con.
