Anime lovers with a Switch
may appreciate the news: the Crunchyroll service now offers an application on the Nintendo console!

And it even allows you to watch content offline.

Crunchyroll leads the way on Nintendo Switch

Thanks to numerous partnerships, the Crunchyroll service (owned by Sony) has for some time now been offering the possibility of watching hundreds of anime on many platforms (desktop, iOS and Android, PlayStation and Xbox consoles, Roku, Android TV, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV and Chromecast). But for those who still want more, the streaming platform now has a dedicated Nintendo Switch app.

Not only is Crunchyroll one of the only SVoD platforms officially offered on Switch (only YouTube and Hulu are there, while Netflix was available there for a while), but it is also the first streaming application capable of watching offline content. Based on the Unreal Engine, the application works in both docked and portable mode.

Remember that after a 14-day free trial, the service is then billed at 4.99 or 6.49 euros per month, depending on whether or not you want to take advantage of offline mode and four screens simultaneously in addition to access unlimited and without catalog advertising.
