PARIS, May 4 (Reuters) – Crypto-asset exchange Binance, one of the world’s largest, announced on Wednesday that it is now registered with the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) French, an essential formality for the development of its activities in France.

This registration as a “digital asset service provider” (PSAN), on the advice of the Prudential Control and Resolution Authority (ACPR), is mandatory to market services for the purchase, sale and custody of crypto-assets. , to exchange crypto-assets for other digital assets and to operate a digital asset trading platform.

It implies, among other things, that the AMF has carried out verifications in terms of the competence of the managers and compliance with the regulations against money laundering and the financing of terrorism.
