Crypto.com establishes its regional headquarters in Paris and invests €150 mlns


Oct 12 (Reuters) – Crypto.com announced on Wednesday an investment of up to 150 million euros in France to finance the establishment of its regional headquarters for Europe in Paris and subsequent operations.

The cryptocurrency exchange platform, said in a statement that it chose Paris to establish its regional headquarters, following its registration as a Digital Asset Service Provider (DASP) by the Autorité des marchés financiers ( MFA).

The company, which today has more than 50 million users worldwide, intends to invest 150 million euros in France, in order to support its local operations and “anchor its long-term commitment there”.

In addition, the Binance crypto-asset exchange platform announced in May that it was now registered with the AMF and that it would significantly develop its activities in France. (Report Alizée Degorce, edited by Kate Entringer)
