Crysis 4 gets the director of Hitman 3


While Agent 47 must take a little rest to give IO Interactive time to move forward on other projects, starting with Project 007, Mattias Engström is putting an end to more than seven years of good and loyal service within of the Scandinavian studio to take on the role of director of Crysis 4, whose title is not yet final. Training level designer Mattias Engström also worked for Ubisoft Massive for nearly 10 years.

To get the job, Mattias Engström did not need to move to Frankfurt, to the headquarters of Crytek. Last month, Crytek announced the permanent adoption of telework for employees who so wish, an option which also concerns the hundred positions to be filled. “Staff currently working from home make up 80% of Crytek’s workforce, with remote work already supported in the US, India, Brazil, China, Philippines and across Europe“, can we read.
