MIBR qualified yesterday for the PGL Major, closely followed by Furia. The two Brazilian teams are the first to secure a place for the PGL Major in Belgium.

The Brazilian team MIBR obtained on Tuesday afternoon the first qualifying ticket for Antwerp PGL Majorthe first major event of the 2022 season on CS:GO.

In front of Imperial at the RMR des Amériques, the qualifying tournament for the competition, the team obtained its third victory in the Swiss round and thus secures the place, just like FURIA, winner of the PGL Major Stockholm 2021, a few hours later. Both teams will therefore have to go through a tiebreak for the seed of the first place and thus obtain the status of Legends. The match is scheduled for Thursday, April 14 at 11 a.m.

In total, the Top 6 will get Legends, Challengers or Contenders spots. The other pools, in Asia and Europe, are currently being played or will be played at the end of April for the other places in play. In total, the regions will send 16 teams to the Challengers tournament on May 9, with 8 winners joining the 8 teams directly qualified for Legends. In the end, the top 8 Legends will go to the Champions Stage to determine the best team in the world.
