CSGO: Modify and choose your crosshair (visor)

CSGO being a shooting game, it is important to have a viewfinder with which we feel comfortable to chain the headshots. However, it can sometimes be complicated to modify it, especially when we are new to Valve’s FPS. This is why we explain to you in a few lines below several techniques for easily change your viewfinder on CSGO.

How to modify and change your crosshair (sight) on CSGO?

Some time ago, the operation was not as easy as today. It was sometimes necessary to go through a third-party site, to create your own viewfinder, or take someone’s, like a professional gamer if you liked it, then enter a code into the game console, via Steam. Nevertheless, Valve, the game’s development studio, has recently improved and above all facilitated the possibility of modifying its cross hair.

From now on, everything happens in game, since new parameters were implemented a few months ago, allowing more possibilities in the modification of this viewfinder. However, these may not be enough for you. It will therefore be necessary to go through a third-party site, as before the arrival of these new parameters.

• Customize your crosshair as you see fit.
• It’s mostly the same settings as in CSGO, except here you can choose, for example, a professional player to give you an idea.
• All you have to do is enter the code obtained (at the bottom of the page), in your console, or in the “Share or import” section, visible in the image above.

How to choose the right viewfinder on CSGO?

If you are starting on CSGOor haven’t played for a while, you may not know what the cross hair which suits you best. There is unfortunately no miracle recipe, no viewfinder will allow you, for sure, to make more headshots than another.

However, you can, via some maps of the Steam Workshop, train with different crosshairs, to determine which is best for you. We recommend, for example, the .crashz’ Crosshair Generator v3 map, which will allow you to get inspired by cross hair already existing, while being able to try many of them directly. Do not hesitate to choose the viewfinder with which you have the best feelings.
