After “CSI: On the Trail of the Perpetrators” was canceled by the US broadcaster CBS after 15 years, the cult series returned to television in 2021 with the new name “CSI: Vegas”. The comeback was a complete success and we can look forward to a third season on February 18, 2024.
But now it has been announced that this will be the last season of the crime series. “CSI: Vegas” was canceled during its third season. Accordingly, there will be no fourth season of the crime series.
Lead actress Marg Helgenberger contacted her fans on Instagram after the cancellation was announced.
I will miss my partners in crime. Unfortunately, “CSI:Vegas” has been canceled. Every single person involved in the production of this series gave their best every day. It was truly a joy and honor to work with such a fun and talented group of storytellers. Immense thanks and appreciation to everyone who made this such a memorable experience. And to all fans: We did all of this for you.

CSI Vegas has not been renewed for a fourth season by CBS. I will miss the cast and crew very much. I will miss Beau the most. He was so much fun to play. Thank you everyone for the support. On to the next adventure.
CSI: Vegas Season 4: Plot
Nothing was known about the possible plot of the fourth season of “CSI: Vegas”. In the individual episodes of the crime series, a new criminal case was always solved, but each season so far also had an overarching plot.
For example, in season 3, Josh was arrested for a crime he didn’t commit. The plot usually ends with the season, which is why we would have seen a new story in the 4th season.
