c’t photography competition “Animally good!”: The top ten have been chosen

The c’t photography competition this time revolved around everything that has paws, paws, hooves or wings. From stylish, studio-like portraits to pictures that make you smile, everything was included in the submitted work.

The starlings were one of the most popular animals in this competition. Three pictures in the first five places show the active birds. Including first place from photographer and gallery member analoochjehtooch. His picture “Beetle by airmail” scored highly with the members of the photo gallery not only with the perfectly sharp motif, which shows a great moment of feeding, but also with the humorous title.

Second place is not in the air, but under water. Gallery photographer txgx portrayed three compass jellyfish. The pretty fellows in the blue light impress on the picture, but it is better not to touch the nettle jellyfish.

With the recording “Feeding”, Lightpix84 and his star family took third place. The wings of the mother bird can be seen down to the last detail in the backlight. A hungry young bird sticks its open beak out of the tree hole.

In the other places in the c’t photography photo competition you will discover a squirrel with a preference for spring flowers, an eagle portrait or a showered titmouse. Birds and insects were particularly popular. You can find an overview of the ten best-placed articles in the gallery below and in the 02/22 issue of c’t Photography.
