Nobody has forgotten Wednesday, the series starring Jenna Ortega which was a colossal success for Netflix. New details indicate that season 2 is moving forward.

Something unique in each episode

Things are speeding up for season 2 of Wednesday! Recently, at Vanity Fair, the actress who plays Wednesday, Jenna Ortega, spoke about reading the script for future episodes. She concludes that it is a season “exciting”, “definitely developing the supernatural world” And “adding new characters”. “In our show there were all kinds of werewolves and vampires. And I think we’re developing this universe a little more” she said.

The actress also took the opportunity to talk about how she worked on her character, and what she liked about reading the scripts.. “In the first season, we had episodes that really stood out visually, like the dance episode, which was very important to people, and that setting was very particular, and it felt a little bit like ‘Prom Night’ or ‘Carrie’. Every episode I’ve read the script for so far has been like this. It’s a memorable scene or setting, and I think that’s what I’m most excited about” she explained.

“X” actress wants more horror and less romance

Recently we learned that season 2 of Wednesday would focus more on horror and less on romance, which seems to please Jenna Ortega who is producer of the show. “I want to see the outfits, the new characters arriving, the scenarios” they affirmed at Variety. How long will we have to wait to see season 2? For the moment, no date has been revealed, but thanks to Celtic Casting and Bleeding Cool which are based on production lists, we assume that Filming is scheduled to begin on April 30 in London..
