Based on the manga by Published Itagaki, BEASTARS is an animated series produced by the Japanese studio Orangeto whom we also owe Majestic Prince and more recently Trigun Stampede. The plot of BEASTARS takes place in a modern world where anthropomorphic animals live in a civilized way. Similar to predators and prey of Zootopiastudents of the institute Cherryton are separated into carnivores and herbivores, and each aspires to become a “Beastar”, a model student destined for success. Quickly confronted with the murder of Teman alpaca, the members of the drama club begin to distrust each other, and Legoshia gray wolf as imposing as he is shy, is determined to find the murderer.
The first season of BEASTARS was broadcast for the first time in Japan in 2019, and the second at the beginning of 2021. In France, it is Netflix who owns the rights, and both seasons are available in the SVOD giant’s catalog. Despite confirmation of a sequel in 2021, the studio Orange hasn’t communicated much about its production in recent years, but it seems that fans of BEASTARS will soon be rewarded for their patience…

But given the length of the previous seasons and the number of chapters to exploit, we can probably expect 12 episodes per game, for a total of 24 episodes for this final season.
