This new k-pop title which features an appearance by a member of the boy band BTS, is a hit!

These two letters may not mean anything to you, but IU (stage name derived from “I” and “You”) is an iconic South Korean singer, songwriter, actress and presenter. She began her career in 2008 where she quickly stood out for her extraordinary voice which allows her to easily reach very high notes. A star with many hats, she has also distinguished herself in series and films throughout her career. This is why it is not uncommon to see her play roles for her video clips, like the latest one called “Love wins all”.

This clip particularly attracted the attention of Internet users thanks to the presence of V, one of the members of the ultra popular k-pop group BTS. This boy band has enjoyed immense success for many years now, and each of their appearances creates a real phenomenon. So, this collaboration between these two emblematic stars of South Korea can only spark!

IU hits the big time with “Love wins all”

Nothing like a romantic song as Valentine’s Day approaches! IU’s latest music lends itself perfectly to this time of year with her soft vocals in “Love wins all”. The clip, for its part, depicts a much darker story, of a married couple played by IU and V (real name Kim Taehyung) who seek to flee a threat probably coming from another world, in a universe post-apocalyptic. This video has moved many Internet users around the world, since it brings together more than 38 million views in just a few days !

With a career that has already lasted more than 15 years, IU fans are always there. This music therefore easily propelled itself to the top of the South Korean charts, achieving what is called a “perfect all-kill”. In other words, it rose to first place in all the music rankings in the Land of the Calm Morning. Between V’s participation, the originality of the clip and IU’s voice, it was difficult to imagine “Love wins all” sinking into oblivion.
