The month of January 2024 was particularly rich in anime. Without even mentioning the series still in progress (The Apothecary’s Notebooks, Shangri-La Frontier, Frieren, etc.), several new releases marked the start of the year. The new production from MAPPA studios (Attack on Titan, Vinland Saga, Chainsaw Man) has not left Japanese animation fans indifferent. Bucchigiri?! is an original anime and not the adaptation of a pre-existing manga directed by Hiroko Utsumi (K-On!, Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku) and written by Taku Kishimoto (Blue Lock). Halfway between Aladdin and Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, Bucchigiri?! features a colorful gang war for high school supremacy.
Christopher Nolan isn’t going to direct a James Bond film, but he took inspiration from Agent 007 to make his least popular sci-fi film
Certain persistent rumors suggested a future in which Christopher Nolan would direct a James Bond film after the “Daniel Craig” saga. The British filmmaker has, however, repeated it several times. He’s not working on Agent 007’s next mission, but he nonetheless remains a huge fan of the James Bond films. During a filmed discussion between Christopher Nolan and Denis Villeneuve following the IMAX screening of Tenet, the former returned to his link with the famous spy saga.

I think yes. And I had a lot of fun. The ending of Inception, the chase in the sky and the great fortress in the snow, is a great homage to On Her Majesty’s Secret Service, which is my favorite James Bond film. With Tenet, I went deeper into mythology because I was also trying to create stylized science fiction. The approach is similar to that of Memento, which used our knowledge of the codes of film noir. Tenet tries to play with the viewer’s knowledge of the codes of spy films and James Bond films. -Christopher Nolan

On the occasion of the marketing campaign around the film, the actor returned to GQ magazine which he covers on his role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the future of the latter in the MCU. According to him, Disney is unlikely to develop a standalone Hulk film and the reason given could not be more obvious.
I would love to do a Hulk movie, but I don’t think it will ever happen. The reason ? CGI is very expensive for Marvel. Steven Spielberg who considers his landmark 1993 film “the best film” he ever made. It’s “the work he’s most proud of.” During an interview with our colleagues at The Hollywood Reporter, the American filmmaker praised “The Zone of Interest” going so far as to call Jonathan’s film the “best Holocaust film” since his own.
