You must have come across a few episodes while watching TV, Dr. House finally arrives on Netflix! With 177 episodes of around forty minutes divided into 8 different seasons, it is one of the best-known hospital series in the world. It must be said that even if its original broadcast in the United States took place between 2004 and 2012, the series and its rebroadcasts have never really stopped being broadcast on French television. In case you’ve never really paid attention, Dr. House follows the professional (and personal) life of a doctor of the same name who heads the diagnostic department at Princeton Plainsboro Hospital. Completely misanthropic, the main character played by Hugh Laurie does not hesitate to not act with the slightest tact when addressing his patients. However, he is best known for successfully finding the cause of some of the most mysterious illnesses, which prompts his director to continue to trust him. Let’s Talk About Chu

For a while now, Netflix has been working to internationalize its content. In addition to American and French productions, you can find films and series from all over the world such as Korea, Turkey, Germany, Japan or China for example. This month, for example, you can discover the first season of Let’s Talk About Chu, a new Taiwanese series created by Remii Huang. Divided into 8 episodes, this first season should allow you to discover the life of vlogger Chu Ali, who uses her platform to talk about sex without taboos. While she appears to be an expert on the subject on her vlog, her real life proves that things aren’t always that easy. If you want to watch a foreign series with a subject that is as contemporary as it is uninhibited, you can do so from the beginning of the month since the entire season 1 of Let’s Talk About Chu will be available on Netflix on February 2.

If this title rings a bell, that’s normal. Originally, One Day is in fact a British novel written by David Nicholls and published in 2009. The latter was then adapted for the big screen in 2011 by Lone Scherfig and then featured the duo Anne Hathaway and Jim Sturgess in the roles of Emma and Dexter. Today, A day returns for a third time in the form of a mini-series available on Netflix from February 8. For those who missed it, it tells the story of Emma Morley (Ambika Mod) and Dexter Mayhew (Leo Woodall), two students who meet on their university graduation day in the late 1980s. After having spent the night together, the two new graduates will decide to remain friends but life will not stop bringing them closer for no less than 20 years. Whether you’ve read the original novel, seen the 2011 film, or none of the above, this new adaptation seems perfect for approaching the month of February with all the romance it entails. And the best part of all this is that the entire story will be available from February 8 since it is a mini-series which will therefore not be renewed.

Avatar: The Last Airbender

It’s certainly the event of the beginning of the year for fans of the original series, Avatar: The Last Airbender finally returns to Netflix thanks to a brand new live action adaptation. Very popular with fans thanks to its very well constructed universe, its endearing characters, its fine writing and its themes that are much more adult than they appear, the saga of Aang and his friends should once again be talked about her from the end of February. If it will certainly be better than that of M Night Shyamalan released in 2010, this new adaptation still raises some fears. Fortunately, the trailers revealed until today still allow us to maintain hope, and we can’t wait to discover the first 8 episodes which will form the first season. As a reminder, Avatar: The Last Airbender tells the story of Aang, a young boy from the Air Nomad tribe as he wakes up from a century of cryogenics. While each tribe can normally only master one element, Aang is the Avatar, destined to learn mastery of all four elements to restore peace to the world. To do this, he will have to escape the army of the Fire Tribe who took advantage of the Avatar’s absence to establish their world domination. The Avatar: The Last Airbender series will be available on Netflix from February 22.
