We are obsessed with voluminous hairstyles and love to try tips that give our hair curls without the heat. The “Twist & Clip” method makes it easy for us.

Straightening irons, curling irons, wave irons and co. They all help us to conjure up glamorous waves, beach waves and small curls. Unfortunately, all these helpers are not at all gentle on our hair and often leave it brittle and dry. The “Twist & Clip” method is said to create large waves in just a few steps and without heat. And this is how it works.

Preparation must be

When washing, the structure of our hair is roughened and it becomes even more sensitive when it is wet. Many hair structures are dry after shampooing and need to be moisturized. A gentle hairbrush and nourishing leave-in products are therefore essential after washing your hair and an ideal preparation for the curling method. We gently work the conditioner into the damp ends of the hair. Additional shine and the extra care effect gives a nourishing hair oil.

If our hair is cared for and prepared, we can start twisting it. For this we need large clips, which in the best case do not leave any kinks in the hair. The method is simple. Individual strands are twisted on both sides at the same time and fastened with the hair clips. It is best to divide the front parts into two equal parts, with the rest of the hair we can decide individually how we want to separate them. Smaller or thinner strands create smaller curls, larger sections create voluminous waves.

Done without much effort

Depending on the length and thickness of the hair, we should let the hair dry up to 45 minutes. And then all you have to do is open your hair, shake it up and then let it dry further. The result is naturally falling waves that aren’t too heavy and last a long time thanks to the no-heat method. We can also fix the style with hairspray. So easy and quick to make – we love it!
