Where unemployment rose above average
With a few exceptions, unemployment is higher than last year in almost all sectors. It rose above average in the transport and storage sector (+219 people or +27.1%), in trade (+446 or +26.3%), in the provision of professional, scientific and technical services (+85 or +26.9%) and in the manufacture of goods (+188 or +18.9%). Unemployment is also above the previous year’s level in the construction sector (+85 or +14.0%) and in accommodation and catering (+283 or +11.3%), in the provision of other economic services (+133 or +10.8%), in public administration (+26 or +9.5%) and in health and social services (+66 or +7.5%).
