In these times everything is more expensive. The costs increase significantly. If you don’t want to lose track of your personal expenses, you need an iPhone app like “Coins” – your own budget book. Regularly available for just under 2 euros, but currently available free of charge in the Apple App Store for a short time.
Only those who really know how much money they spend on the things in life every day can keep their own spending under control. Mom used to keep a household book, but now there’s something like that directly for the iPhone and iPad. For example, you can use the “Coins – Personal account book” app for this. Normally costs 1.99 euros in Apple’s App Store, but is currently available free of charge for a short time.

The app enables a clear and graphic presentation of daily expenses and income and has some useful features. So you always know when and where your money goes. Some highlights:
- Simple user interface. Although in English, it is still easy to understand. Incidentally, the app automatically recognizes the euro affiliation on German iPhones.
- Informative report. You can set a budget, so the app can warn you in advance if you’re about to spend too much money – clever.
- Smart suggestions. Since the app remembers the expenses independently, it also makes intelligent suggestions for faster input.
- The app also supports Apple’s iCloud.
- For better protection, a pin code be assigned for use.
- Since the app too multiple currencies supported with the appropriate conversion, it can also be used wonderfully when travelling.
Important to know: The listed in-app purchases (“Buy me a coffee”) are only to be understood as small and voluntary donations to the developers. But you don’t have to give anything, the functionality of the app is not affected.

Handy for tracking cash

If you want to use “Coins – Personal account book”, you need an iPhone with at least iOS 14 or an iPad with at least iPadOS 14 and almost 7 MB of free storage space. As always, please check the price before downloading. We don’t know how much longer the app will be free. This was the case last May for almost 6 days.
