The German manufacturer CVS Vans has a fully equipped off-road sprinter in its range that is worth a closer look.

CVS Vans, more precisely CVS Hilgers GmbH from Duisburg, has only been around for a few years. The company was founded in 2020 in the midst of the corona pandemic. There was enough time and peace for managing director Mike Hilgers and his team to do things a little differently than the large-scale manufacturers. For example with smart control.

You can see all of this in the finished vehicles, such as the “Series One” model presented here. Once again, the well-known and proven Mercedes-Benz Sprinter serves as the basis. CVS chooses the seven-meter-long base with all-wheel drive, automatic transmission and fully equipped. More is not possible. What Mercedes-Benz doesn’t install, CVS retrofits.
A highlight from our point of view is the smart control of all components using the Revotion system. All devices are networked with each other and can be easily controlled via a smartphone app. This also includes the power stations from EcoFlow with a capacity of 10 kW. Large solar modules are available on the roof to generate electricity.

The interior made of multiplex lightweight panels and a very elegant and warm floor harmonize well with the manufacturer’s nappa leather applications and LED package. Numerous storage spaces and heavy-duty trains in the generously sized rear garage make loading and unloading easier.
Further equipment includes a Biotoi dry separation toilet, all-round mosquito protection, an outdoor shower, a ski box and a roof rack.
Price and possible alternatives
The manufacturer builds touring vehicles like this one according to individual agreements or completely rebuilds them. The prices therefore vary greatly and depend on your specifications. You can find further information here from the manufacturer.
