CYBERGUN, a global player in recreational shooting and force training, reveals the highlights of its participation in the 2022 edition of EUROSATORY, the global Defense and Security exhibition held in Paris from June 13 to 17.
ARKANIA, Defense & Security subsidiary of CYBERGUN, presented replicas of new generation training weapons that will equip the French forces. They have been tested with the simulator developed by its partner THALES and have met with great success, both with professional shooters and institutions and contractors. Their technological superiority has been highlighted many times, including by a key player in the US high-tech gaming market.
The ARKANIA offer is now very comprehensive. In addition to the replicas, there are test benches for missiles, technical containers intended for the transport of sensitive materials and equipment intended for the production of armaments. This offer will be further expanded thanks to the ongoing acquisition of VERNEY-CARRON, the oldest French arms manufacturer, which offers good prospects for growth in new segments.
Thanks to its verticalized industrial tool (mechanical, sheet metal, boilerwork, electronics, painting and assembly), which enables it to manufacture components and carry out complex assemblies in-house, ARKANIA has convinced several principals and received orders significant amounts of equipment to be delivered in 2023.
CYBERGUN’s Defense & Security division generated revenue of €4 million in the 1st quarter of 2022, i.e. 31% of Group revenue. Among the most significant contracts and orders since the beginning of the year, we note the conclusion at the beginning of the year of an export contract for shooting simulators with Lithuania. There are also no less than four major orders from major French prime contractors for the manufacture of military containers, all for a value of more than €4 million.
