Cyberpunk 2077: a version 2.1 which adds even more huge new features

CD Project launched last September version 2.0 of Cyberpunk 2077, as well as the expansion Phantom Liberty. THE FPS/RPG has changed quite a bit thanks to all this, but the Polish studio still released patches 2.01 and 2.02 in the following weeks in order to correct bugs.

Now everything seems to be back to normal, CD Project was therefore able to concentrate on the development ofa 2.1 updatewhich adds subway travel, on-the-go radio, and boss fight improvements, without forgetting some new features for driving professionals. Here are the main points of patch 2.1:

NCART Subway Travel

Travel around Night City easily with Night City Area Rapid Transport subway services. Stop worrying about traffic and enjoy the view thanks to the 5 metro lines that stop at a total of 19 stations located throughout the city. Service available only after V receives message from NCART.

Radio on the go

This service is intended for all traveling audiophiles in our community! We added a Radioport that allows V to listen to the radio while exploring Night City on foot or taking the subway. The volume is adjustable and the radio automatically turns off when in-game audio is crucial, such as during conversations.

Improved boss fights

We’ve made a number of improvements to boss fights, including the one against Adam Smasher. It is now more iconic, as Smasher will adapt better to the tactics used by players, will be much more relentless and will use Sandevistan, like in Cyberpunk: Edgerunners.

Watch out for all the petrolheads… CHOOH2-heads!

We have lots of new stuff for all car enthusiasts!

  • New vehicles, including new motorcycles and a true classic: a convertible version of the Porsche 911!
  • Replayable car races, available once the race with Claire is completed.
  • More immersive motorcycle riding: ability to throw knives while riding, lean, do somersaults and even flips!
  • New car chases – if you mess with gangs during your gigs, they may come after you later!
  • New highway opened.

Moreover, Cyberpunk 2077 update 2.1 will introduce many accessibility optionswhich should make the experience much easier for those involved. CD Project explains it all in pictures on its official websiteseveral options were introduced with patch 2.02, but here is what awaits us:
