Cyberpunk 2077 and Phantom Liberty brought in millions of euros for CD Projekt

As part of its latest financial report, CD Project took stock of its projects under development, the Polish studio is banking everything on Polaris/The Witcher 4but he also took the opportunity to reveal some big numbers regarding its latest game, Cyberpunk 2077.

CD Project reveals that Cyberpunk 2077 and its expansion Phantom Liberty brought in more than three billion złotys, or around 697 million euros. The Polish studio goes into a little more detail and specifies that the FPS/RPG generated the biggest revenue at launch in 2020 with 1,404 million zlotys (326 million euros), the following two years were quiet, but with the release of the expansion Phantom Liberty and patch 2.0 in 2023, an additional 826 million zlotys (192 million euros) entered the pockets of CD Project.

As a reminder, Cyberpunk 2077 has sold over 25 million copies, while Phantom Liberty found five million takers. CD Project now develops OrionFollowing Cyberpunk 2077, but you will have to be patient before putting your hands on it.
