It was during a special event, which took place on Tuesday September 6, that the CD Projekt RED studio unveiled Cyberpunk 2077’s first DLC. Named Phantom Liberty, this expansion will invite us to discover a whole new neighborhood, alongside V and Johnny Silverhand (Keanu Reeves). Unfortunately, it will only be available on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series. It could also be that this expansion of Cyberpunk 2077 is the first… and the last.
Indeed, as spotted by journalists from the XGP site, CD Projekt RED does not seem to have planned any other DLC for Cyberpunk 2077. A user, Jonna Dragneel, recently left a comment on the Phantom Liberty trailer and wrote: “JI’m quite intrigued by this extension. I hope that in the future more [d’extensions] will happen, because the game has great potential “. CD Projekt RED replied: “ Glad to hear we have piqued your interest. About the future, Phantom Liberty is the only expansion planned for Cyberpunk 2077 “.
Thus, according to information shared by the development studio in charge of the software, Cyberpunk 2077 could only benefit from one and only DLC, namely Phantom Liberty. Of course, if this changes, we will keep you informed.
