Cyberpunk 2077: The first expansion finally unveiled – Cyberpunk 2077

Almost two years after its release and after many problems, CD Projekt RED gave a glimpse into the future of Cyberpunk 2077. In addition to the series set in the same universe, available September 13 on Netflix, players of the much criticized RPG will be able to enjoy an extension in a few months.

During a special event, the studio concluded its presentation by revealing new images (see below), those of the first content DLC of Cyberpunk 2077. At the moment the information is rather meager, but we have a name. This DLC is called Phantom Liberty and the protagonist of the story, V, always seems to be there, to discover a whole new district. This is also the case of Johnny Silverhand, played by Keanu Reeves, to reform a duo that we have come to know.

We obviously have no release date, if not a wave 2023. This extension will most likely be paid, but we have no certainty on this point. CD Projekt RED could make this DLC free for all players, especially to thank them for the support after the release. Note that the Phantom Liberty expansion will only make itself available on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series. Moreover, on this subject, update 1.6 deployed on September 6, 2022, will be the last on PS4 and Xbox One. Support for this generation will then be terminated. Several improvements will still be made on PC and on the current generation, including an overhaul of the font system.

See you over the next few months to learn a little more about Cyberpunk 2077’s Phantom Liberty expansion.
