Cyberpunk 2077 was ‘just the warm-up’ for CD Projekt

CD Project was known for the trilogy The Witcherat least until 2020 when (after several postponements) it launched Cyberpunk 2077, a FPS/RPG based on tabletop role-playing game Cyberpunk. An excellent title for all fans of the genre, who were able to rediscover Night City with the extension Phantom Liberty few months ago.

From now on, CD Project to focus on The Witcher 4which will be the first part of a new trilogy, but also a sequel to Cyberpunk 2077responding for the moment to the code name Project Orion. The Boston studio teams returned to work this week and are making it known with messages on X/Twitterlike the quest director Paweł Sasko which indicates that discussions regarding the next game Cyberpunk 2077 have started. Igor Sarzyńskinarrative director of the game, explains that the adventure Orion starts at the start of the year and that “Cyberpunk 2077 was just a warm-up”.

The title will have set the bar very high in terms of immersion, creation of an open world and exciting quests, fans are already looking forward to finding out what’s in store CD Project with this sequel.
