Cyril Hanouna: these two debates in atypical formats that he is preparing for the presidential election

As the first round of the presidential election approaches, Cyril Hanouna is preparing two innovative formats. The C8 host dreams of a candidate debate on his antenna.

Cyril Hanouna intends to be an actor in the presidential election. After launching a new political program, Face à Baba, the host of Touche pas à mon poste could be at the helm of an innovative format before the first round, on April 10. “We would all like to host a debate with Macron against the other candidates, but no one is succeeding, explains the presenter in the columns of the Parisian. And that is understandable. Macron would have too many blows to take.” What would he like to animate? Two evenings. “We are trying to organize an evening with only candidates from the right, from Éric Zemmour to Nicolas Dupont-Aignan, he confided to our colleagues. And another with those on the left, to find out if Jean-Luc Mélenchon really stands out.”

“I do not believe in a format where the candidates are in single file, like in a casting. The TF1 show, it will not bring together more than 16% of the public”, prophesies Cyril Hanouna, evoking France in the face of war, a program scheduled for Monday March 14 with eight of the twelve candidates for the presidential election, including Emmanuel Macron. But the C8 flagship host has another even crazier idea as the first round approaches. “We want to take them to the French, to families cast in advance with different profiles like in Porte-bonheur, he explains in the columns of the Parisian. For once, it wouldn’t be live, but recorded. Everything will depend on whether Macron says yes!” For the moment, therefore, nothing has been recorded for Cyril Hanouna, who will host a new issue of Face à Baba with Marine Le Pen.

France facing the war: which candidates will be present?

In the meantime, viewers will therefore be able to discover a new format on TF1 with Emmanuel Macron therefore, Anne Hidalgo, Yannick Jadot, Marine Le Pen, Jean-Luc Mélenchon, Valérie Pécresse, Fabien Roussel and Eric Zemmour. Scheduled at 8:20 p.m., this live broadcast will be presented by Anne-Claire Coudray and Gilles Bouleau. In the program ? No debate between the candidates, they will speak individually, one after the other through a one-minute profession of faith, then an interview and finally a right of reply. Note that four candidates for the Elysee were not invited by TF1 for this special evening: Nathalie Arthaud, Nicolas Dupont-Aignan, Jean Lassalle and Philippe Poutou. For its part, BFMTV confirmed “the organization of a big special evening with all the candidates / candidates successively on March 23”.
