At the Brussels Auto Show, Dacia unveiled a new “Extreme” version of its small electric Spring.
This new model, described as more “powerful”, should begin to be delivered before the summer.
The little Dacia Spring also in “Extreme” version
Since its launch, the small 100% electric Dacia Spring has convinced more than 100,000 customers, according to the manufacturer. This compact and affordable vehicle is nevertheless endowed with a very relative power, namely only 44 hp.
Also, as part of the Brussels Motor Show, Dacia has formalized a new “Extreme” version which gives pride of place to a new engine called Electric 65, but which also includes new exclusive design attributes.
More power and new options
Thus, this new Dacia Spring Extreme will benefit from an unprecedented engine, Electric 65. As its name suggests, the latter allows the small electric car to claim a power of 65 hp. The brand also promises a new specific reducer to provide better acceleration and recovery over an extended range of use.
On the autonomy side, the Dacia Spring Extreme displays 220 kilometers in the mixed WLTP cycle. It is therefore still as limited, but it would nevertheless meet the needs of Dacia Spring buyers, since the manufacturer indicates that daily journeys are (on average) 31 kilometers, at an average speed of 26 km / h.
In addition, the Dacia Extreme can count on a new Slate Blue color as well as various attributes, in addition to those included in the Essential version. In particular, you will find Copper Brown painted elements (mirror shells, wheel centres, etc.), door base protection and door sills with a topographic pattern, stitching on the seats, new floor mats, etc.
Regarding its price, the Dacia Spring Extreme with Electric 65 engine will be available to order in France from January 17 at a price of 22,300 euros (excluding bonuses).
The first deliveries are planned before the summer.
