Daedalic delays release of The Lord of the Rings: Gollum

He only had a month left before seeing the light of day, but the infiltration game in the universe of JRR Tolkien from Daedalic Entertainment will be long overdue. Expected for September 1, The Lord of the Rings: Gollum will not finally see the light of day for several months. Fine-tuning, last-minute details or even “best possible experience”, the message looks like all the others.

In development for many years now, the game struggled to convince when it was presented in 2019. However, the time left for its development has revealed a title with good potential. Despite everything, many details have left doubts about its quality, especially when compared to its competitors, such as Styx. The universe developed by JRR Tolkien however gives a big advantage to the game of Daedalic, benefiting fans across the world.

The Lord of the Rings: Gollum therefore sees its release date postponed by a few months, without anyone knowing more for the moment. This additional time will benefit the development teams who will then be able to correct the last major problems, and refine the experience. The goal is also to offer a title that will be more difficult to criticize on its release for its many flaws.
