Daft Punk is over. After 28 years of collaboration, the group formed by Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo since 1993 has decided to announce its separation. The two musicians chose to convey the sad message by posting a video of 7 min and 57 seconds entitled Epilogue on their official YouTube channel. Fans were able to rediscover an excerpt from their film Electroma, released in 2008, and in which the two men walk in the desert and then end up exploding one after the other. The information, confirmed by their press officer atAFP, has made many unhappy fans of the group, very followed since its formation. 1- They met at 12 years old at the College Carnot

Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo met in 1986, at the college of the Lycée Carnot, in the 17th arrondissement of Paris. Professor Anne Pourdieu, who was their music teacher, told in 2014 in The show for all, on France 2, that she had witnessed the birth of their complicity, when they were still only children.

At the beginning of their collaboration, the Daft Punk did not wear their legendary helmets.
