The hype about “Squid Game” is not going away. Now actress Dakota Johnson is also coming out as a fan of the South Korean Netflix thriller.
Dakota Johnson (32, “How To Be Single”) and her partner Chris Martin (44) are fans of the Netflix hit “Squid Game”. The actress reveals that in a new interview with the “Hollywood Reporter”. The South Korean series is “heavy,” says Johnson.
The 32-year-old and the Coldplay frontman (“My Universe”) spent a lot of time together in the Corona lockdown, reports the daughter of Don Johnson (71, “Miami Vice”) and Melanie Griffith (64, “The weapons of women “). “And it’s great.”
“Squid Game” offers an “interesting combination” of joy and horror
The couple, who rarely comment on their relationship in public, apparently also watch “Squid Game” together. “She’s crazy in a confusing way because in some moments she exudes joy and then becomes terrible,” says the “Fifty Shades of Gray” actress. The result is “a very interesting combination”.
The drama series by showrunner Hwang Dong-hyuk (50) already bears the title of most successful Netflix series of all time less than two months after its worldwide start on September 17th and even surpassed the success of “Bridgerton”. The survival thriller, in which desperate Koreans risk their lives on a grueling game show for the grand prize, reportedly grossed nearly a billion dollars for the streaming service.
