Dalida in a relationship with Alain Delon: the secrets of Orlando, the singer’s brother

The musical show Come on, I’ll take you, broadcast on France 3, will return on February 25 on the tube Lyrics, Lyrics by Dalida accompanied by Alain Delon. For the occasion, his brother Orlando returned to their romance.

It is to our colleagues from Télé Star that Orlando, Dalida’s brother, recently confided. On February 25, France 3 and its musical program Come on, I’ll take you will partly pay homage to Dalida for her hit Words, words performed with Alain Delon.

For the occasion, Orlando first returned to the history of this song: “I had heard it during a stay in Italy. In Italian, it was a song that served as the theme song for a variety show. As soon as I heard it, I thought it would be a good song for Dalida. I called the publisher to block the rights. I had Dalida listen to it. She was immediately enthusiastic and thought of Alain Delon.” he said about Words, words.

“I was not aware of their romance”

The singer and the actor already knew each other and had been accomplices for several years at that time: “They had met in Paris, at their beginnings, in the mid-1950s. They occupied maids’ rooms on the same floor” Orlando explained.

The star’s brother later admitted he was unaware of their romance: “They met again in Rome around 1963-1964 and there was a story between them. I was not aware of their romance, I only learned of it when the disc was recorded. It took place in November 1972 and it came out in February 1973”did he declare.

A short story, however, worthy of a Hollywood romance between two show business stars.
