The drama “Dalíland” is a film biography of the painter Salvador Dalí. When art school graduate James gets the opportunity to work as an assistant to the painter Salvador Dalí, who lives in his own world, he gets to experience the light and dark sides of the art scene.

Salvador Dalí is a famous Spanish painter of the 1970s, known for his extraordinary art and his spectacular celebrations at the St. Regis Hotel in New York, where he lives with his wife Gala. James Linton has just finished his art school training when he gets a job with Dalí’s gallery owner Christoffe.
When Dalí meets James one day, he is immediately impressed by the 19-year-old and asks him to assist him with his new exhibition. Christoffe agrees with the idea and immediately asks James to make sure that Dalí finishes his works of art on time. It’s a dream come true for James, but he soon learns the dark side of the art world.

The main role of the Spanish painter Salvador Dalí is played by Oscar winner Ben Kingsley (“Gandhi”, “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings”). Next to him are Barbara Sukowa (“Air”) as Dalí’s wife Gala, “The Summer When I Became Beautiful” actor Christopher Briney as James Linton, Rupert Graves as Captain Moore, Andreja Pejić as Amanda Lear and Alexander Beyer as Christoffe in front of the camera.
