Damon Motorcycles has announced that it will be exhibiting at Eicma 2022 in Milan, the world’s largest trade show dedicated to 2-wheelers, from November 8 to 13, 2022.
As part of this event, the Canadian manufacturer will present a European preview of its HyperFighter Colossus. This muscular all-electric roadster is equipped with an engine developing 200 hp, and above all 200 Nm of torque. If the announced maximum speed of 270 km / h will be difficult to use off the circuit, the accelerations promise a 0 to 100 km / h in less than 3 s.

One of the strengths of this roadster is its 20 kWh battery allowing a range of nearly 300 km in town and in eco mode, and 230 km in mixed. Reasonable values given the claimed performance, but we will have to check as the autonomy of electric vehicles melts like snow in the sun on the highway. That said, it’s obviously not the favorite playground of this big roadster whose weight has not yet been revealed.
Good news, the HyperFighter Colossus is compatible with fast charging. According to the manufacturer, it is possible to go from 0 to 80% of electrical capacity in 45 min. It will take 2h 30min for a 90% recharge on a standard socket.
The HyperFighter Colossus embeds CoPilotPro technology which provides 360° monitoring of the driver’s environment and alerts the latter to the presence of other vehicles in blind spots. In addition to traction control, different riding modes, front-rear cameras or OTA updates, the HyperFighter Colossus is compatible with a companion app that allows the transmission of data from the motorcycle to a smartphone.
The price list is not yet official in France, but the manufacturer could announce a European range ranging from €16,800 to €31,000 depending on engine power and autonomy. The Damon HyperFighter Colossus will be presented at stand I71 Öhlins in hall 24 of Eicma.
