Dancing with the Stars 2024: The second known eliminated couple, a new “3” awarded after that of Caroline Margeridon

Usually, candidates from Dance with the stars have the sole mission, with the help of a ranking, to satisfy the jury and the public, to obtain good marks and thus try to continue the adventure to go as far as possible in the competition. But this Friday, March 15, on the occasion of the 4th bonus of this 13th season, they had to face each other in a duel. However, this is not the first time that this system has been put in place since the creation of the show.

Here’s what happens in these cases: the participants make a first pass, and the jurors decide who won each duel. The winners are then qualified, while the losers have the opportunity to make up for it with a second performance. Following this second passage, scores are awarded and the two couples who obtain the lowest score are then put to a vote by the public, who then have the difficult task of deciding and thus designating the duo who leaves the adventure.

This evening, the oppositions were as follows: Keiona against Inès Reg, for a duel between the two best elements of this 2024 promotion, Natasha St-Pier against Nico Capone, Roman Doduik against Black M, and Adeline Toniutti against Cristina Cordula . Finally, and due to an odd number, Diane Leyre, James Denton and Coeur de Pirate all three faced each other. Only two of them were able to qualify from the first round. The remaining couple were therefore subjected to a second passage.

Who was eliminated after Caroline Margeridon?

Remember that last week, it was Caroline Margeridon who was eliminated from the competition (an injustice, according to her daughter Victoire). Which star suffered the same fate as her at the end of this fourth evening? Well, it’s Coeur de Pirate. Alongside her partner Nicolas Archambault, the Quebec singer, known for her song Like childrenfailed to convince the jurors, then the public.

A result that could be described as unexpected, given that it was Cristina Cordula who was almost eliminated during the previous prime, and that James Denton, for his return from injury, had obtained a very bad result. But it is less so when we know that Coeur de Pirate was already at the bottom of the ranking, even before the launch of this new evening. And that she obtained some rather problematic marks this evening, including a “3” which was awarded to her by Chris Marques. She was eliminated against her compatriot Natasha St-Pier, who is injured, we learned this Friday.
