The countdown is on before the launch of the brand new season of Dance with the stars on TF1! Next Friday, February 16, many personalities will set foot on the floor of the famous dance show for the very first time with professionals. Their objective ? Convince the very demanding members of the jury and win the trophy.

While waiting to shine on stage, all these beautiful people gathered this Thursday evening at TF1 headquarters for an exceptional press conference. Rules of the game, new features, personalities… Here’s everything you need to know before the start of DALS.

An exceptional cast

TF1 is hitting hard this year with a five-star cast that will “make the platforms blush”, jokes Camille Combal this Thursday evening. The comedian Inès Reg, the host Cristina Cordula, the former Miss France Diane Leyre, Natasha St-Pier, the rapper Black M, the singing teacher of the star AcademyAdeline Toniutti, the singer Coeur de pirate, Keiona (the winner of season 2 of Drag Race France), the influencer Nico Capone, the comedian Roman Doduik, the second-hand dealer Caroline Margeridon, and the cherry on the cake: James Denton, unforgettable Mike Delfino in Desperate Housewives. “We are happy because we have worked for a year and a half to get back to the fundamentals of DALS. First: stars and an intergenerational cast. And then, the dance. The level is very consistent this season. No one can guess who can win DALS“, assures Rémi Faure, director of streaming programs for the TF1 group.

Chris Marques, Fauve Hautot and Jean-Marc Généreux back among the judges, and a little news!

Chris Marques is over the moon! Member of the DALS jury since the launch of the show in 2011, he will reunite with his sidekick Jean-Marc Généreux (present from seasons 1 to 10), as well as Fauve Hautot (already a judge during seasons 6 to 8). A new addition will be installed alongside them: Mel Charlot. A regular on Broadway stages, this dancer has collaborated with big stars like Kanye West and Mariah Carey.

No elimination on the first two bonuses

This year, no personality will be eliminated after the first two bonuses. “We want to give them the chance to go as far as possible,” comments the production. But be careful, the star who gets the lowest rating will be put in danger at the next bonus!
