Dancing with the stars: The semi-finalists chosen, the worst candidate (by far!) yet saved

Who says Friday says Dance with the stars ! This October 28, 2022, TF1 broadcast a new bonus from its famous dance show, the quarter-finals, and unfortunately the competition was punctuated by a new absence. The carnage continues…

A few hours before this new episode of season 12, a historical character from Dance with the stars announced that he unfortunately could not be present, and it was not the first time this season: Christophe Licata. Round 2: A jive. They got 25 points, so in total 59 points

Léa Elui and Jordan Mouillerac had 31 points in their sights. They first performed a paso doble which allowed them to have 27 points. They did not reach the goal of exceeding their best score.

Round 2: A samba. They got 10 points, so a total of 37 points.

Stephane Legar and Calisson Goasdoue finally found each other. Calisson suffered from a cracked rib following a carry. The record to beat was 36 points and they first performed a fox trot on Forest soprano. They are the duo to have broken their record with 37 points. They gained 30 more seconds to prepare for their second performance.

Round 2: A chacha. They got 15 points, so a total of 52 points.

The face-to-face

Carla Lazzari and Pierre Mauduy obtained the most points at the end of the two dances and were therefore directly qualified for the semi-final.

The other four couples went head-to-head over a salsa.

Public votes and elimination

Thomas Da Costa and Elsa Bois were saved by the public, for the fifth time, Billy Crawford and Fauve Hautot were saved by the jury, as were Stéphane Legar and Calisson Goasdoué. It is therefore Léa Elui who was eliminated at the gates of the semi-final while his level was much higher than that of Thomas Da Costa. A real scandal for some…

On the audience side, our colleagues from Puremedia report that this eighth premium of Dance with the stars attracted 2.35 million viewers, or 12.6% of the total audience and 25.7% of the FRDA-50. A score which allowed TF1 to rank second in the Friday evening hearings.
