Binarly goes on to say that the vulnerabilities were reported to HP over a year ago. However, the manufacturer has not yet equipped all PC models with a patch. The group had already closed one of the gaps (CVE-2022-2390) for all devices in March. A security update has been available for three others (CVE-2022-31644, CVE-2022-31645, CVE-2022-31646) since August, but not for all HP PCs.
According to the researchers, the Zcentral, ProOne and ProBook models, among others, remain unprotected. Whether and when HP will also provide a patch here is unknown.
