Daniel Aminati has announced that his sister Deborah has passed away. He is currently in an “emotional chaos”.
Daniel Aminati (48) recently shared bad news with the public. “My middle sister Deborah’s heart stopped beating on the night of August 3, 2022,” he wrote on Instagram. She was only 46 years old. In a new interview, he now explains that he is currently “in an absolute emotional chaos”.
At the same time, the 48-year-old is expecting a child with his wife Patrice, as the two announced in March. “The situation shows me the whole contradictoriness of being and how close joy and sorrow are to each other”, explains the moderator of the “Bild” newspaper.
Aminati says he spoke to her on the evening before Deborah died. She died “after decades of excessive alcohol consumption”. A friend found the deceased lifeless in the morning and took her to a hospital. But she could not be revived. According to the report, Deborah is now to be transferred to Germany.

Aminati was “shocked” by the news of his sister’s death, but because of her extreme lifestyle, it was clear to me that this could happen at some point,” he continues. The moderator tried to help her out of her addiction. At some point, in addition to alcohol, “hard drugs” were added to her.
“Right now I’m just terribly sad. But I know that the opposite will soon follow. There’s a time to laugh, there’s a time to cry. It’s a constant up and down,” summarizes Aminati.
“I do hope that your wings are gently enveloping you and that you have now found the peace you have always wished for on earth,” he wrote on Instagram. Her “actual, sunny disposition” and her “bright light” would “always shine” on him when thinking about his sister.
