Presenter Daniel Aminati was involved in an accident on Thursday. He crashed his car into a Bayern Munich bus.

Daniel Aminati (49) was involved in a rather strange traffic accident in front of a hotel at Schwabinger Tor in Munich last Thursday. This is reported by the “Bild” newspaper. According to the report, the 49-year-old crashed his SUV into a Bayern Munich team bus.

Aminati confirmed the accident to the daily newspaper. “I just wanted to drive past the bus, but it swerved to the left,” explained the moderator. Although there were passengers on the bus, it is said, they were not players of the club. Fortunately, no one appeared to have been injured in the incident. “Fortunately, there was only slight damage to the bodywork. Nothing happened to me myself,” Aminati lets know. According to him, the police meant that it was a trifle.

Aminati himself played for Bayern

“It’s interesting that it was an FC Bayern bus of all things,” said the 49-year-old. A good three decades ago, he sat in such a bus himself when he played for the club’s A youth team.

At that time he dreamed “the dream of many boys”, he explains on his website. Aminati wanted to play professional football: “With his talent, he played his way through the youth teams of Aachen Alemannia to the A-Juniors of FC Bayern Munich. It didn’t go so bad after all.” Instead, however, completely different stations followed for the all-rounder – including as a dancer, as a member of the German boy band “Bed & Breakfast” and since 2006 as one of the well-known faces of ProSieben.
