Daniel Aminati’s wife fights cancer
“There is finally light at the end of the tunnel”

Daniel Aminati and his wife have given an update on social media about how Patrice is doing in his battle against cancer.
Presenter Daniel Aminati (50) and his wife Patrice (29) have posted hopeful posts on Instagram. In spring 2023, Patrice Aminati was diagnosed with skin cancer. In March 2024, the couple made public that metastases had formed in the lungs. Now Daniel Aminati reports on Instagram: “The last few weeks have been very demanding and exhausting… the circumstances have demanded everything from Patrice in particular.”
The presenter adds: “We’ve just come out of the hospital with new results. There is finally light at the end of the tunnel.” He is “infinitely happy and relieved.” There is still “a way ahead of us… but I am deeply convinced: we can do it.” Daniel Aminati writes, among other things: “I am so proud of my wife. What a wonderful fighter you are.”
“I can’t do this anymore…”
Like her husband, Patrice Aminati in a post to everyone who supports her. The 29-year-old also explains on Instagram: “475 days, 11,424 hours… that’s how long I’ve been living with a metastatic malignant melanoma. After the first successful operation, I didn’t know what that really meant. Now I’m in the middle of it – like many other sufferers.” In the middle of it means “pain, cramps, sleepless nights, nightmares, operations, anxiously waiting for results, appointments with doctors, hospitals, pharmacies, health insurance companies, psychologists… never-ending infusions, tablets… some to fight the cancer, others to reduce the side effects.”
She often withdraws, says the 29-year-old, “I often can’t deal with it anymore… even nice things become unbearable.” The first therapy was “unfortunately not successful.” “Now we are taking another, a new path. I am grateful for that. Because ten years ago my diagnosis was a certain death sentence – the rapid and extensive formation of metastases is a symptom of malignant melanoma. The latter also applies to me.”
Her greatest wish is to finally be able to leave this path, the post continues. “My greatest happiness now is days free of pain and fear, days when life shows me the sun – when I can be happy with and in my Charly Malika. (…)”
Daniel and Patrice Aminati met in 2018 and married in April 2022. Their daughter was born in August 2022.
