(CercleFinance.com) – Danone announced Friday evening that it had obtained the Russian regulatory authorizations required for the sale of its EDP activities in Russia to Vamin R LLC, with completion of this sale expected in the coming weeks.
The French agri-food group initiated the process of transferring these activities in October 2022 and, finding that it no longer held management control, deconsolidated them in July 2023. The total loss recognized in its accounts amounts to 1.2 billion euros.
