Dany Boon at François Ozon: the investigative film Mon Crime unveils its first retro images

Discover the first images of Mon Crime, the new film by François Ozon, with an extensive cast, including Dany Boon. In theaters March 8, 2023.

A few months after unveiling Peter von Kant, with Denis Ménochet and Isabelle Adjani, François Ozon is already back with a new feature film, Mon Crime.

After a film more cinephile and sharp, the prolific filmmaker is back with a legal comedy that could unite a large audience, eyeing a register closer to Potiche or 8 women.

In this first retro-style teaser, Fabrice Luchini leads the investigation, surrounded by a motley cast: the revelations of the moment Nadia Tereszkiewicz and Rebecca Marder, as well as Isabelle Huppert, Michel Fau, André Dussollier or even Dany Boon.

The film is an adaptation of the play of the same name by Georges Berr and Louis Verneuil. But, as always, François Ozon brings his paw to it, by modernizing the subject, and by coming up with a very chic cast.

The story takes place in the Paris of the 1930s. Madeleine Verdier, a young and pretty actress, penniless and without talent, is accused of the murder of a famous producer. Helped by her best friend Pauline, a young unemployed lawyer, she is acquitted for self-defense. Then begins a new life, made of glory and success, until the truth comes to light…

My Crime will be released in theaters on March 8, 2023.
